ArtChick® Commercial & Catalog Studio Standards
ArtChick® LLC provides high-end production services for brands and retailers. To maintain the integrity of our creative output and ensure professional workflow, all commercial projects are governed by the following standards.
I. Production & Punctuality
Project Minimum: All commercial and catalog sessions are subject to a 3-hour production minimum.
Commercial Brand Photography: Starting at $375/hr.
Hybrid Photo + Motion Campaigns: Starting at $600/hr.
Studio Production Fee: A flat $200 fee applies to all in-studio sessions. This covers full access to our private Philadelphia production space, professional grip equipment, and high-end lighting kits.
The Production Clock: Shoot time begins at the scheduled start time. Late arrival will result in a direct reduction of shooting time. We suggest clients and creative teams arrive 15 minutes early to settle into the space.
Overtime: If production exceeds the booked window due to client-side delays or expanded shot lists, overtime is billed in 30-minute increments at the project's applicable hourly rate.
II. Licensing & Commercial Usage
Standard Business License (New Projects): Unless otherwise stated in writing, delivered assets for commercial projects include a 12‑month Standard Commercial License for the commissioning entity. This grants non‑exclusive usage rights for Web, Organic Social Media, and Portfolio/Internal Marketing.
Legacy 24‑Month Licenses: Projects commissioned under our previous terms that reference a 24‑month Standard Commercial License will be honored as written for that specific job. Upon expiration, any continued use will require a renewal or new licensing agreement.
Expiration & Renewal: Usage rights begin on the original delivery date of final assets and expire at the end of the licensed term. Any continued or renewed use of assets beyond that date requires a signed licensing extension and additional fee, quoted per campaign, duration, and media mix.
Extended Usage & Paid Media: Use in Paid Advertising (including but not limited to paid social, display ads, billboards, out‑of‑home, sponsored TV/Print, and large‑format campaigns), or on behalf of third‑party retailers, distributors, or partners is not included in the Standard Business License and requires a separate Licensing Addendum.
Third‑Party Rights & Non‑Transferability: All licenses are granted solely to the commissioning client and are non‑transferable. Any use by affiliates, sister brands, retailers, or other third parties must be negotiated under a separate licensing agreement.
Intellectual Property: ArtChick® LLC retains original copyright to all works as protected under U.S. Copyright Law. Licensing grants specific usage rights only and does not constitute a transfer of copyright or ownership.
III. Image Management & Tracking
Metadata Protection: All files are embedded with permanent IPTC metadata identifying ArtChick® LLC as the creator and owner.
Unauthorized Use: Our studio utilizes Pixsy and digital tracking to monitor assets. Unauthorized usage or use beyond the license term will be flagged for enforcement.
Archive Policy:0–30 Days: Active Gallery (Free Download)., 31 Days–6 Months: Inactive Storage. $50 Relisting Fee applies to bring the gallery back online., 6+ Months: Deep Archive. $300 Retrieval Fee applies.
